With six, state-of-the-art asphalt plants located throughout the KC metro area, Superior Bowen produces carefully tested mixes at a quality that often exceeds our customer demand.

We incorporate only the highest quality stone aggregate in our designs to produce the most durable mixes. We also use advanced testing and technology during materials selection and design to provide more competitive pricing.

In addition, Superior Bowen leads in unrivaled formulations containing:

• Cold-milled, recycled asphalt pavement (RAP)
• Recycled asphalt shingles (RAS)
• Recycled ground tire rubber (GTR)
• Chemical asphalt additives

We’ve done extensive research with asphalt additives to extend pavement life, and we actively seek advances in equipment and technology to stay ahead in the production and characterization of paving mixtures for enhanced ride-ability and longevity.
