OUR SCOPE

Superior Bowen was contracted to construct a 10-foot-wide concrete trail spanning 3,435 linear feet, creating a new connection between the Thousand Oaks Residential Subdivision and the existing concrete trail along Brush Creek near I-435. The project also included installation of a 130-foot pedestrian bridge, tree clearing, earthwork, culvert crossings, erosion control, cement stabilization of the trail subgrade, landscaping, and improvements to the existing asphalt trailhead parking lot.

Unique challenges

This project required careful coordination across multiple scopes and site conditions to maintain efficiency and quality throughout construction. Our team worked closely with the client to identify practical solutions that improved constructability, enhanced long-term performance, and delivered overall cost savings. By applying innovative construction methods and sustainable practices, we were able to streamline operations while meeting the project’s functional and environmental goals.
