MoDOT Route 1 & Route 152 | Paving

OUR SCOPE

MoDOT contracted Superior Bowen to mill and fill two major roads: Route 1 (from north of 152 South to 72nd Street) and Route 152 (from the Route 1 bridge to I-35). We got it done, and only had four locations of profile grinding on a job that spanned seven miles in length.

UNIQUE CHALLENGES

Superior Bowen tackled this project during the rainiest time of year. To top it off, this particular summer was a record-breaker: 2024 proved to be the 13th wettest year in Missouri’s history. Through careful coordination and hard work, our team overcame 20 days of rain delays to deliver Routes 1 & 152 on schedule.
