Superior Bowen was contracted to deliver full site development and horizontal infrastructure for the Atlas9 project. Our work included demolition of existing site conditions, building pad stabilization, and comprehensive site grading. In addition, SB managed utility installation, landscaping and irrigation, and concrete and asphalt paving through coordinated subcontractor efforts. Together, these efforts established the complete horizontal infrastructure necessary to support the unique Atlas9 experience.
UNIQUE CHALLENGES
Existing soil conditions required remediation and close coordination with multiple regulatory and waste management entities, including KDHE and Waste Management. Due to the site’s prior use as a service yard, a special waste disposal request was submitted to KDHE, allowing contaminated soils to be properly removed during grading operations. Proactive coordination and planning ensured compliance while maintaining project progress.
