Independence, MO FY26 Go Bond Overlay Project

The Independence GO Bond Project includes concrete curb and gutter repairs, sidewalk and ADA ramp replacement, and a two-inch asphalt mill and overlay with base repairs as needed.
Concrete work will begin in District 3, followed by District 4, District 2, and finally District 1. Milling and repaving operations will start approximately one to three weeks after concrete work is completed in each district.
Door hangers or yard signs will be placed 24–48 hours prior to the start of construction. Residents may experience limited access to their driveways at times, depending on the work being performed.

Blue Springs 2026 Neighborhood Preservation Program

The Blue Springs 2026 Neighborhood Street Preservation Program includes concrete curb and gutter replacement, a two-inch asphalt mill and overlay of streets, and full reconstruction of select streets.
Concrete curb replacement is anticipated to begin within the next few weeks, starting in the southern portion of the city. Milling and asphalt paving operations are expected to begin in early May.
Yard signs will be placed at neighborhood entrances one to two weeks prior to each phase of construction. Door hangers will be distributed to each residence 24–48 hours before work begins. Residents may experience limited access to their driveways at times, depending on the work being performed.
